Our story, our passion
At the heart of it all, we love dogs and believe they should be there for mom and dad’s special day. Lori has a natural love for animals and a gentle but firm demeanor that dogs are drawn to, and brings Aloha everywhere she goes. From Boston to Hawaii and now 16 years in San Diego, she is direct, caring, and calm under pressure.
Inspired by a father's love
Lori grew up with family dogs because of her dad's love for all dogs. In 2021, she lost her father suddenly and needed to step back from her full‑time job for a breather, and that’s when dog sitting “fell into her lap” because she was already the go‑to dog person for friends and neighbors. She had cared for several friends’ dogs before joining Rover and turning it into a profession, building long‑term client relationships, healing my heart, and expanding into weddings and special events, a professional service she hasn’t looked back from.
More than just care, it's a retreat
Our home is a retreat for your dog while you vacation at your retreat, a safe, cozy place with structure, play, and lots of love.
What began as pet sitting for five years naturally grew into wedding‑day dog care when a client asked if Lori could bring their dogs to their wedding. She said “absolutely” and was genuinely excited. It was special to deliver someone’s fur babies to them on their wedding day.
Now, grateful to share the love of dogs by handling all things dog at your wedding so you can relax and soak in every moment.
